Who deserve the gold star ? When asking for the gold start from the Snapchat team, they Answer
At this time, Snap Stars are being rolled out to a small group of Snapchatters. Over time, Snap Stars may become more widely available. To learn more about Snap Stars, please go. They answer with this and the gold star is only for a small groups or who’s a talent or the public influencers . But the reality is really different than the what the Snapchat team told us the whole reality is different . There is a lot of snapchat account who has a gold star without anything of the Snapchat role or anything interesting they are a random people and dose not has any thing interesting in their Snapchat . I’ll talk about myself in 3 years ago I works so hard for making a lenses and than I start working with a community filter better than the filter . I start having more than 120 filters and it’s so interesting, in 3 years ago until this moment . My account become a public profile and I ask the snapchat team and I got a respond as I mentioned above . I worked so hard to make filters and it all accepted around Saudi Arabia, USA, I go more than 200m view of my filters. I upload a picture for them to the Snapchat ( MY COMMUNITY FILTERS) website , I see myself of these people who’s inserting because I been working so hard of making filters for one filter I been a week for make it and I deserve the gold star. The respond that I get from 3 years till now is the same thing it didn’t change and I been seeing a lot of people who get their Snapchat verification and they are a random people half of them is paid for it but me no I don’t need to be paid for that I need to get it by my hard work

Those stats look like they are for geofilters rather than augmented reality (AR) lenses built using Lens Studio.
The gold star is awarded by Snap to AR creators who demonstrate technical, creative, and/or artistic excellence through their lenses. They do not care how many lenses you've created nor how many views you've received.
Your artwork does indeed look really good, but they are not using augmented reality.
The lenses or the geofilters all of them is something creative and interesting of the publican this didn’t block to let me get the gold star in the meantime I see my self I’m doing alot of interesting geofiliters , lenses . And also I know the view don’t matter for getting the gold star but. I SEE MY SELF INTERSting creative for getting the gold star . The hard thing is to make the Geofilters as I said I see myself creative. I stay up all night to make community filters , lenses for Snapchat I been doing these for 3 years or so I’m working hard but I didn’t got anything for Snapchat

There is nothing wrong with wanting the gold star. When I started creating lenses I wanted to get one. But creating lenses for the purpose of getting verified is going to end in frustration.
You need to be creating what you enjoy creating - let your passion show. There are about 250,000 people who've created lenses, so you need to make sure you are standing out in some way.
Every lens I make, I try to do something new. Sometimes it is something big like using VoiceML, sometimes it is something small like trying a new node in the material editor. I am always trying to learn with every lens I make.
My name is deema Abdullah I’m a Saudi Arabian who live in the United state ( Michigan ) I send this message to the boss of the company of Snapchat I wish he ( you ) cold look forward the hrs work that I work for creating the Snapchat community filters . I been working on them in 3 years now with some love for Snapchat . I creat a community filter and sometime I stay up the whole night for making something beautiful and my dream is to be something creative of Snapchat and hopefully you could look forward to see my work. In the meantime there are a lot of people who got their account verified and they are not existing, random , weird people they do not have anything interesting in their Snapchat they are not a public people they are random no one knows them . And I’m still at this moment working hard for Snapchat my dream is to get the gold star I dream of it , thinking about it . What is the difference between geofilters & augmented reality (AR) filters. can you send a pic or look at my lenses and tell me Your __ lens is a AR lens and your __ is a geofilter just so I know the difference. I'm not doing lenses just for a gold star I do love making them and seeing people enjoy them! It makes me happy. It just would be nice to have a gold star! I just find it upsetting when people with 2 lenses somehow have a gold star and I see other creators with hundreds of great lenses and nothing. :/
A lot of people who make lenses to get the gold star . For me in the beginning I make a lenses than I move into the geofilters, when I improved my self with the community filter I start doing more and more as the lenses

if you want to verify your account get paid first. The half of the accounts are paying and than they got their account verify . There is one famous girl who said pay me 10000 reyal and I’ll verify your account that’s how they treat others to get their account verify.
If you use Lens Studio it is a lens. Lenses are also called filters, community lenses, etc. - Snap refers to AR effects as lenses. Some people try to differentiate between "lenses" and "filters", but it's really just different names for the same thing.
Geofilters are image overlays that you add to a picture/video after you capture it by swiping. They are created through a web interface.
DO NOT PAY FOR VERIFICATION. Those individuals are not acting on Snap's behalf and are not legitimate. Snap does not charge for verification. If you do pay for the gold star, I would say there is a good chance your account could be shut down once they find out.
Some creators who have the gold star may only have a couple lenses on their personal account, but quite often they work for, or own, an agency that does high-end work for brands.

i did a lot i create lenses, filters and more and i didn't got anything a lot of people who got it and they have nothing to do in their snapchat they are a random people no one knows them why they have the gold star

So I have another question. Does Snapchat approve more creators that have AR lenses that use the rear phone camera or the lenses that go on your face like the potato?
Is the potato lens a AR lens or does an AR lens have to be considered an AR lens if it is being used on the rear phone camera. I am just trying to make sure I understand.
It doesn't matter which camera you use. The only time that matters is which features you are trying to use (e.g. world tracking only works with the rear camera). The potato lens is indeed an AR lens. If you make it with Lens Studio, it is an AR lens.
It sounds like you are overthinking this. There is no secret code to crack to get verified. It doesn't matter what type of lenses you are creating or what features you are using as long as you are showing that you can drive innovation in AR. Making 100 color filters with LUTs is perfectly fine if that is what you like (this is just an example because a lot of lenses are just this, I'm not calling anyone out or anything), but it doesn't drive AR forward. Driving AR forward can mean advancing storytelling, art, utility, technical possibilities, etc. It is very much open to interpretation and at Snap's discretion.
I do think I'm going to do a longer writeup on all this, so keep your eyes peeled in the coming weeks.

We enter after many days in 2022 It has been 4 years and I did not get any advantage from the Snap network, I am never angry. The goal is to have fun, share, develop capabilities and learn about new types of augmented reality, at the end of 2019 I was very interested in getting I got the gold star, but that was a mistake because I was not interested in the types of lenses and developing my skills in many aspects of the program

I’m a women who pregnant I’m overthinking and As a pregnant women overthinking for her is not something good I been overthinking for a while of the gold star till I figure out that I felt there is a ghost trying to chase me . I work so hard and I tried to get the fans having fun of what I’m doing as a filter or lenses
But suddenly I start thinking of the gold star my thinking was all about it , I tried to get rid of it but I can’t
Every single day I start thinking more and more I feel there is ghost is chased me everywhere when when I go to bed and when I wake up I decided to drive 32 hours to sant Monica in the car with my family when I got there they won’t let me go in they told me to send an emeil but the emeil didn’t help I tried to get my self happy and I creat a gold star lense I wish you could help me out and I’ll pray y’all after all
