The Spectacles 3 is the best 3D FPV camera ever made...unfortunately, it only exports to Google VR180 in a warped equirectangular projected format.

I would love to see an unwarped rectilinear 16:9 SBS export option for both photos and videos. This would allow me to make some pretty cool lenses that could look insane when viewed in VR.

Barring Snap adding the export option to the SnapChat app, does anyone have an easy method or template to extract the unwarped 16:9 from the VR180?

    Yeah, I can't share stereo videos even in Snapchat.

    Nor can I embed Youtube's VR180 in a webXR app.

    If Snap gives them raw, there will be much more use for this camera.

    open ~/Library/Preferences/Snap/Lens\ Studio/ %LOCALAPPDATA%\Snap\Lens Studio Copy Text
  • Press ReturnEnter to run the command. The Lens Studio folder will automatically open
  • Prepare to upload your files: zip the "Log" Folder by right-clicking and choosing "compress."
    Locate the Log.txt file right above it.
