Apply Color Correction to people only, not background

  • That's initially what I started with, but the BW color correction still gets added to the full thing.

I'm super new to this and 3D in general, so I'm not really sure what to do. Tried duplicating the "Seg Controller & Textures" but the BW just applies to everything.

Attached is my objects panel - not sure if that's useful or not.

  • Hey Ellis,

Applying post effects to the Segmentation Template can be a bit confusing at first. You might want to check out the post effects section of the tutorial.

    Cheers,
    Vincent

  • Hi Vincent,

Thanks for your reply. The tutorial only shows one segmentation being used. Ive been having trouble working w/ two - background and person. I'm still confused on how to set up my project for two segmentations.

A solid answer would be really awesome - jumping back and forth to the same tutorial is getting a bit discouraging...

  • Hey! Not sure why this was marked as answered, because it wasn't answered. :S

  • Theoretically, by adding an image and setting that image as a render target you can change the order and set only the segmentation to only be color corrected because from what I'm looking at every time you set a color correction it makes the entire screen change as well or doesn't seem to work. Also, multiple camera targets should work make the above work

  • Hi ItzJustSamuel,

Apologies for the late reply. Not too sure I know what you mean, unfortunately. :(
