Frustrated 1st time user
I'm a new user and I am very frustrated about 2 things. I have successfully installed Snap Camera and the Snap Lens Studio. I have successfully created my first lens and saved the project to my desktop. Now this is where I am frustrated:
1) I can't find any info on how to access the saved lens directly from my desktop into Snap Camera (without the need to go online) - which, one might expect, to be a simple an obvious request.
2) Reluctantly I opened a SnapChat account and successfully published the lens online. Now in Snap Camera, I can see no way of accessing the lens that I just published. All the help info tells you how to create it, but not how to access it.
Now Snapchat has my name and phone number, and my published lens. And Lens Studio support now has my name and email address. If I could have accessed the lens directly from my desktop, there would be no need for me to give up my personal data. I am trialling the apps and am annoyed that I need any on-line presence at all to complete a simple task - which has become ridiculously complex.
I have a SnapCode for the lens too, but no clue as to how to use it. When I download it, I get a picture, but no code. On the PC in the Snap Camera, there is no option for entering the code anyway.
Please, could someone let me know how to access the lens I published in Snap Camera. I am using Windows 10 on a laptop.
Thank you.
Also, when I posted the above comment, I never authorised that my full name be published. So once you have solved my problem, could you please email me the answer and delete these posts.
Thank you.
Hey @...
So if i understood you correctly, you want to use your lens without publishing it right? For this you can upload your lens privately, so that only you have the lens-url and the snapcode for it.
You usually have to wait some hours but after then you can copy the Lens-Url by clicking on "Share Lens" and paste it into the searchbar of SnapCamera.
