Bitmoji-style based on Paper Head Template
I am working on my first lens. What I want is a really simple Bitmoji-style face floating on a chroma-key green background. No part of the real world (or the real me) needs to be seen, and there's no need for the head to turn left-right, though tilting would be nice. Since the head won't turn, the eyes, nose, and mouth should be on the same plane. For starters, I plugged my images into the template, but of course everything looks odd. I assume I need to make changes to the script itself, which I have no experience with, though (for what it's worth) I have experience writing HTML from scratch and a bit of experience with CSS, so I'm hoping it won't be too big a jump. I have so many questions. The texture sequences for the left and right eyes in the template assume a different numbers of images, and I'd like them both to be three each, but don't know how to change it. I want to use a head (obviously), but the only way to get the head to show in the template is to choose sliding mouth, and I'd prefer to use a texture sequence instead. I also have no idea how to replace the entire background with chroma-key green. Any guidance would be very much appreciated. Thank you!
Hey! Not sure if this lens will be able to be published, as Bitmoji is a trademarked word. If you try and publish this lens with the word Bitmoji in it, it will be taken down quite quickly. Even if you do get around this, the images are most likely copyrighted by Bitmoji and will probably be flagged during the review process.
As for your issues, I am not sure I am completely clear on all of them, but for the ones I do understand:
1) No need to change the script to add/remove textures in the Script editor, all you need to do is go to. your "Objects" hierarchy (looks like this) Select "PaperHeadController [EDIT_ME]" and in the inspector, add or remove the number of textures using the X's on the right, or the "Add Value" button on the bottom. (Looks like this)
2) To replace the entire background as a chroma key green, I would either use a Portrait Background Segmentation Texture, allow the user to choose their own image using an Image Picker, or set a Screen Image that is just green, and place the Face Controller ahead of it in the Object Hierarchy so it shows up over the green screen.
3) I think I know what you mean by using a head, not 100% sure, however you could just make the head texture a Screen Image and have the Face Controller in front of it so it looks like the head and features are attached
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!
Best of luck
