How do you create a censored face?

  • Hi Alfonso,

Can you link to an example of the type of Lens you are talking about?

    Cheers,

  • Hey Alfonso!

This can be very easily recreated by doing the following steps:

    1. Add New -> Post Effects -> Select Pixelization

    2. Add Resources -> Segmentation Texture Head or Face would work for this.

    3. Select the Camera in your scene -> Select Mask Texture -> Select your Segmentation Texture

    4. Edit the amount of Pixels by selecting the Pixelization Material

    Profit!

  • Hey Julien

Sorry to bother you but I am new to this so I was a bit stuck when it came to the third step. Anyway the attachments below shows what I ended up with. Is this okay or do you think your step is better, if so explain it easily for me.

Thanks for reading and I hope to get a reply soon

    Cheers,

    Alfonso

  • Hey Alfonso!

Awesome that you got these steps to work already!

For the third step, you click on the camera at the objects panel, from there it shows you the inspector panel with all kinds of options.

Drag the Segmentation Texture to the Mask Texture slot, or click at ''None'' and select your Segmentation Texture. Both dragging and clicking works.
