Video sync

Hi All,

 

I would love some help on a video sync issue.

I'm trying to achieve a alpha-video effect through the Material Editor.

I'm using an mp4 for the RGB shader colors, and an mp4 for the A.

This gets me the desired result, but i'm unable to let the videos start at the same time.

There is a slight delay in timing resulting in the Alpha not lining up correctly with the RGB. Any suggestions on how to ensure/force the videos to run in sync?

    I was able to solve this by rendering the alpha (through a luma matte) and the rgb into a splitscreen video and use UV scale and offset to blend them together

    I am glad you figured it out, putting alpha and diffuse on one texture is the only way to synchronize them.

  • Press ReturnEnter to run the command. The Lens Studio folder will automatically open
  • Prepare to upload your files: zip the "Log" Folder by right-clicking and choosing "compress."
    Locate the Log.txt file right above it.
