High Score (End Game controlled by timer)

  • I didn't look at the High Score template but i assume you want to record the score every seconds.

    // first for score
    var store = global.persistentStorageSystem.store;
    var scoreKey = "totalScore";
    var currentGameScore = store.getInt(scoreKey);

    // now every second we will increase the score by 1
    var delayedEvent = script.createEvent("DelayedCallbackEvent");
    delayedEvent.bind(function(eventData) {
    currentGameScore += 1;
    store.putInt(scoreKey, currentGameScore);
    delayedEvent.reset(1)
    });

    delayedEvent.reset(1)

    I didn't test the code but it should work ... i guess

  • Thanks for the reply UAEpro

    The template has a button the user taps that ends the turn and displays your current score on the screen.

    What I would like to do is instead of tapping a button to end the turn and display the score, i would like a timer to start when you begin and then once the timer runs out, the current score will be displayed on the screen.
