GeneralDataStore deletes after taking a photo in iOS

Hi,

We are experimenting an issue with persistent data on iOS devices, the data stored into the GeneralDataStorage gets reverted to a previous state after taking a photo or video.

How it happens:

If you open the lens store something into the persistent storage and then close and open the lens again the data is there everything works, but if instead of closing the lens we take a photo the data stored during that session gets cleared and reverted back to the last time the lens was open or cleared if it is the first time you use it.

We have tried with several devices and it only happens with iOS, we did notice that some devices running older or beta versions of iOS works fine.

Is this a known issue? is there a work around to get this working?

Any help will be helpful as our lens rely on saved data so this is a big issue for us.

    open ~/Library/Preferences/Snap/Lens\ Studio/ %LOCALAPPDATA%\Snap\Lens Studio Copy Text
  • Press ReturnEnter to run the command. The Lens Studio folder will automatically open
  • Prepare to upload your files: zip the "Log" Folder by right-clicking and choosing "compress."
    Locate the Log.txt file right above it.
