Transparent Hair Tips (like Substance Painter Lens Studio Material)

Hi there,

I have a problem displaying transparent hair in Lens Studio.
The material looks very good in Substance Painter (used with the Lens Studio shader 'lens-studio.glsl') please see image 1.

With a similar shader in Lens Studio (please see image 2), the hair is far too transparent. Unfortunately I haven't found a solution to the problem.

It would be great if you could help me.

    Try enabling Two-Sided and change the blend mode just keep switching the blend mode till it matches something you like or are close to the original.

    Yeah, like Samuel said definitely try two-sided and try the Premultiplied Alpha, Alpha Test, and Alpha To Coverage blend modes.

    That hair looks great by the way!

    open ~/Library/Preferences/Snap/Lens\ Studio/ %LOCALAPPDATA%\Snap\Lens Studio Copy Text
  • Press ReturnEnter to run the command. The Lens Studio folder will automatically open
  • Prepare to upload your files: zip the "Log" Folder by right-clicking and choosing "compress."
    Locate the Log.txt file right above it.
