How to make a Lens that simply mirror flips whole screen?

  • Hi Tyler! This is an easy fix; here are the instructions!

First, you want to add in a screen image to the Objects panel.

Next, you want to drag the resource "Render Target" from the resources panel as the screen images texture. (Highlighted in blue)

Then, in the screen images settings in the inspector panel, there should be a "Flip" option, just click the direction you want the screen to flip!!

Also, you can choose the sizing of the flipped screen in the 2D scene.

Let me know if you have any more questions, and I'll be more than happy to help! :D

  • Thanks Amanda, i got it working I appreciate the help. Now do I have to wait for a lens to be approved before being able to use it in the Snap Camera application? Is there not another way to just manually load it in?

edit: I checked the status and it says it is now 'live' but i am unable to find it when i search in Snap Camera, the name is "Mirror Touch Up"

  • Hi Tyler!
It does take a little while for your lenses to load up on other platforms; I recommend sending the link of your lens to the device you want to open it up on, and accessing it from there!
