AR Interactive Video Billboard

  • Hey Superboy,

I'd love to help, I'm not familiar with the lens but it would be fairly straight forward on how to do it.  I can either help here or you can send me a message on discord.  Essentially the only parts you would need to have are the video and the poster image, everything else can be done in LS.  My discord is Ryan Shields#0275!

  • Hey crazy-superboy,

Have you taken a look at our Marker Template? You could use the poster as your marker and attach your video element to it.

    Cheers,
    Vincent

  • The marker template is exactly how I would do it.  You should be able to open the template and from there add an image marker from the object panel.  It should ask you to pick an image, you would pick the billboard or poster, then just replace that with the marker that's in the template.  From there u can add some planes and position them how far you want them away from the poster and drop the premade image material on the plane's material slot.  Then just go to the inspector panel for the image material and drop your video in, make some tweaks to it and it should play your video on the plane when you show the marker!  Let me know if you need a more in-depth guide!
