How was the Anime Style lens made?

  • Iam also curious how this was made. Would be nice if Snapchat releases a tutorial soon :D

  • Hey Guys, 


    So I believe it was made with ML, specifically style transfer.  I was actually looking to do something like this but more as a world filter rather than the face when I came across this GitHub page about the project.  You can read up on it here or download the project, I haven't yet as its 4gb for the whole thing and just haven't spent time working on my version yet.  But feel free to check it out and see if it a notebook u can throw in colab!

  • When it comes to ML and neural networks ColdFusion did an amazing video today about them. There is also a Toonify dataset where you can put an input of a normal picture and the output will be Disney style cartoon. 

    Here is the video (It explains a lot about how AI works in a creative ways to accomplish different things)

    open ~/Library/Preferences/Snap/Lens\ Studio/ %LOCALAPPDATA%\Snap\Lens Studio Copy Text
  • Press ReturnEnter to run the command. The Lens Studio folder will automatically open
  • Prepare to upload your files: zip the "Log" Folder by right-clicking and choosing "compress."
    Locate the Log.txt file right above it.
