Realistic Horse Head Mask
Aloha!
Check out my first mask, a realistic 3D horse mask: https://www.snapchat.com/unlock/?type=SNAPCODE&uuid=53ba178a7d004d31abe0e3344beacb52&metadata=01
Mouth, Eyes and ears are using face expressions to be moved. E.g. looking angry will lower the eye brows and tilt the ears back. Laughing, opening/closing mouth, raising/lowering eyebrows, blinking and eye movement is supported.
Have fun!
PS: also notice the eye lashes and muzzle hair ;)
Hello Mike TheMechanic
i love the idea of the eye lashes ;) , would you share with us how did you hookup the mask with face expressions?
Sure, I did the eye lashes in Blender according to this tutorial. Then in the tools-section I converted the object based particles into a mesh and joined it with the head mesh. Best done before adding an armature because if you do it afterwards, you have to manually apply the eye lid's weight paint to the lashes.. it's possible but not fun..
And then a good starting point to convert armature poses to shape keys (which are used as blend-shapes in Lens Studio) is this post.
Cool!
thanks for sharing this I've been working on this for almost a week and finally this the last puzzle!
i saw your last post it seems we had the same issue but you figured it out before me haha
again thanks for sharing I'm gonna jump to this right away
