Possible to catch objects with the open mouth?

    The easiest way to do this is with a simple distance check. Try this script out:

    // @input Component.Head headBinding
    // @input float distanceAllowed = 5

    var selfTransform = script.getTransform();
    var mouthTransform = script.headBinding.getTransform();

    function getDistanceToMouth() {
    var selfPos = selfTransform.getWorldPosition();
    var mouthPos = mouthTransform.getWorldPosition();
    var delta = selfPos.sub(mouthPos);
    delta.z = 0; // Ignore z distance
    return delta.length;
    }

    function onMouthOpen() {
    var distance = getDistanceToMouth();
    if (distance <= script.distanceAllowed) {
    print("near mouth!");
    }
    }

    script.createEvent("MouthOpenedEvent").bind(onMouthOpen);

    Put this script on your falling object, then create a head binding and set the attachment point to "Mouth Center" and set it as HeadBinding.

    This script basically just finds the x,y distance from the object to the mouth whenever the mouth opens, and only prints the message if the distance is small enough. 

    If this doesn't work for you, you can also use screen space distance but that is a little more complicated. Let me know if you have any questions!

    open ~/Library/Preferences/Snap/Lens\ Studio/ %LOCALAPPDATA%\Snap\Lens Studio Copy Text
  • Press ReturnEnter to run the command. The Lens Studio folder will automatically open
  • Prepare to upload your files: zip the "Log" Folder by right-clicking and choosing "compress."
    Locate the Log.txt file right above it.
