I'm trying to import an FBX from Maya that consists of individual stepped frames. Sort of like a stop-motion thing. However once I import it to Lens Studio, not matter what I do it always interpolates the animation and adds "interframes" for a perfectly smooth animation. Is there a way to force Lens Studio to simply display the individual frames of the animation without smoothing it out?
Basically I have a rotating top-like object that creates an animated effect when rotated a specific angle between frames (sort of like stop-motion animation. Look up Novatropes for visual examples)
Here's a picture of the graph editor in Maya showing the rotation of my object in individual stepped tangents. I'm pretty sure it's not Maya smoothing these out as I can re-open the exported FBX back in Maya and still see the stepped tangents.
Once I import it into Lens Studio (I've tried unchecking all of the import options), I slow it down to .01 speed to check if it's interpolating. The object SHOULD appear to snap to new locations. What it IS doing is slowly rotating to the next position, then changing frames and starting another slow rotation.
Any advice I can get on fixing this would be incredibly appreciated.
