How to work witch text layer ?

  • Hi,

    You can use a script like this to increase the counter on tap and then display the value on a Text component.

    // @input Component.Text textComponent

    var counter = 0;
    script.textComponent.text = counter.toString();

    script.createEvent("TouchStartEvent").bind(function(){
        counter++;
        script.textComponent.text = counter.toString();
    });

    If you need help setting it up, here are the steps:
    1. Create a Screen Text object (Objects Panel > Add New > Screen Text)
    2. Create a Screen Image to use as your button (Objects Panel > Add New > Screen Image)
    3. Create a new Script and add this code to it (Resources Panel > Add New > Script)
    4. Select the Screen Image Object, drag the script into the Inspector Panel to add it to the object
    5. Click on the "Text Component" property and set it to your Screen Text object
    6. Add a Touch Component to the Screen Image object so that it can receive touches as a button (Inspector Panel > Add Component > Touch)

    Let me know if you need more help!

  • Hey Алексей,

    As discussed in the other thread, this might be caused by setting the script to "Tapped" instead of "Initialized" in the Script component.
