Facepaint - Making a yellow paint a SHINY Gold color

I did find a slight workaround. I was able to disable the middle vertical paint layer, then put that on a Photo template, adjusted the Blend Mode a little bit, and it seemed to work. We tried to boost the regular gold color with a blend mode to make it shiny, but that was overpowering it, so we had to make it a very dark gold color, and used Color Dodge Blend mode to make it a little more bright and to boost the faux-shininess.
Would love to know if there is a way to easy add a reflective environment map to an image texture that gets wrapped on the face?

What you did is totally fine if it looks nice to you! If you are using the Team Celebrate template, another way you can do it is to replace the default eyelines material to a PBR material that has reflective environment map. Under Camera -> Face Paints -> EyeLines, you can replace the lines_primary material to your own PBR material. Make sure you add light source if you want some specularity and link up the corresponding opacity and base texture. Let me know if it does not work for you!
