Enhancement Request: Code completion for Visual Studio Code
I use Visual Studio Code for my external script editor. It would be handy while learning the API to have some of the editor features available. Most valuable would be object drilling and online help. I don't know how interested the entire community would be in using this but I would find it quite valuable.
If someone were to start an open source extension for this hosted on github I'm sure a few people will contribute and make it happen.
That would be great. I would have no idea how that might be done.
Hi Robert! Thanks for the suggestion! I will add this to our feature request list!
Have a look at this: https://github.com/huggingface/snapchat-lens-api
It's a re-package of the Lens Scripting API as Typescript type definitions, so you get code completion in VSCode.
I've opened a discussion thread here: https://lensstudio.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360042988852--Dev-Workflow-Type-definitions-for-the-Scripting-API
Looks good. For some reason I am not authorized to visit your discussion link.
Can you share how you created this?
Hi Robert,
the post seems to be stuck pending moderators' approval, for some reason (but there's not much more info there anyways).
I created the type definitions just by reading the official API doc. As stated, it's not fully exhaustive yet (but there's everything I'm using in my own lenses)
Ou're proper primarily based on what you shared. AH i'm scared. Coding is always the largest roadblock in any interest i ever had in technology lol. But i'm prepared! I'm going to try to use the app SoloLearn to study JavaScript to use in website page.
