Newbie here, Need direction on flood effect.
Hello everyone,
I have a design background but I'm new to building lenses. I would like to create a flood effect. Essentially, the user would see flood water all around in the camera view. This is a great example of what I mean: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6SdkFHDoPv0
I would greatly appreciate some links or advice on where to start.
Thanks in advance.
Hi Zongdotcom01,
unfortunately I cannot answer your question completely, but this post by Travis Chen might give you some ideas. Good luck!

You can use the device's camera feed or one of your camera outputs as a texture as well. And this texture can be applied to a 3D model. To use the device's camera feed, there is a texture that already exists in your resources called "Device Camera Texture".
Super useful, thanks Travis, got some ideas!

Hello,
I think i made something close to what you wanted.
You can adjust the settings in the project to what you like.

Hi n-mikael,
Thanks and good idea. I did not think about the animation ..
I wanted to try to use the solution proposed by Travis with the realistic reflection.
Thanks
Ah, you want it to be the same above, but using the realistic reflection?
yes exactly, I'm trying to understand
Sounds good, but i was not able to find the exact same settings he had.
However, i found the "simple reflection" feature in the PBR Material.
Would that be fine?
yes great to see this lens I am also working on the same lens project you can see here on thislink for more details.
Terak Soft the page you linked seems to be a tutorial on how to reset a tankless water heater 😅 Would love to see your project and I hope you managed to fix the heater.
