How Do I Put A Timer Into A Lens?

  • I am working on a countdown object you may be able to convert to a timer, importing it is a bit strange right now though.

    Here's how to add it:

    Step 1: Download the object from here:

    Step 2: On your project make a billboard, then remove the empty sprite inside the billboard if u dont need it

    Step 3: Outside of the billboard and any other objects, import my timer object

    Step 4: On the timer object at the bottom of the script component there is a time input, you set that to the total seconds

    I have it set to be a countdown right now but if you play around with it you can switch it to counting upwards.

    Sorry it doesn't look very good right now, I just started it tonight so it's still a work in progress. It also doesn't support hours but I can't imagine a snap lens would need that.

    One small note, you have to Tap the screen to start the countdown. Or, you can change the Timer script's event to "Initialized" if you want the timer to start right away.

  • Hey there, Apoc! I need something kind of similar. I'm wanting to create a lens that is a countdown to September 21st. Let me give you some context on what it is for. We're hosting a charity football game at my high school to help support C.S. Mott Children's Hospital, which is one of the most leading facility's in pediatric cancer. They do not have the funding for their research and that's really what we're raising money for. I'm wanting to create a Lens that counts down to the date of the game. Do you know if there is anyway of doing this, or if it is even possible?

  • Is there any way to make the debris randomly like this rotate and decrease the amount that randomly spawn with out reducing the opportunities to where they can spawn?

  • Prepare to upload your files: zip the "Log" Folder by right-clicking and choosing "compress."
    Locate the Log.txt file right above it.
