Hey! I was wondering if there was any way to display a custom hint at the start of the lens, and not from the dropdown list in the lens info section?

if not, then I'm assuming this was just hacked together with a 2D object and a tap trigger.

Unfortunately, it's likely due to the operating system or hardware you're using – since they don't meet the system requirements for Lens Studio.

Hardware: Minimum of Intel Core i3 2.5Ghz or AMD Phenom II 2.6Ghz with 4 GB RAM; Intel HD Graphics 4000 / Nvidia GeForce 710 / AMD Radeon HD 6450 or better; screen resolution of 1280x768 or higher

There currently is no way to add your own custom hint at the beginning of a Lens unless you hack it together with a 2D object as you realized. I can add this to our list of feature requests though.

We would love to have the ability to add custom hints as well. The ones you have now are pretty limiting.
