  • Hey Jelmer,

In order for Lens Studio to recognize your material, you need to bake your materials from any 3D software to textures.

Make sure your textures saved as PNG or JPEG file format and also when your exporting your model make sure to check the "Embed Media" check box.

  • Ok thanks, but the main issue here is the 3D model itself, it is all over the place...  :/ Any idea why?

  • Hey Jelmer,

Is your model skinned? If it's skinned object you need to reset Xform before skinning process.

You can reset your Xform using this guide.

  • Thanks, no it is not skinned.. it's simple poly objects.. It does have custom pivot point locations and one arm is mirrored and certain objects are children of other objects.

This is pretty unexpected result though, especially since Unity can read the FBX perfectly fine, so it is something that is not working well with Lens Studio unfortunately..

I can't use lens studio like this..

  • I am having the same issues. Something is happening with the pivots and it jumbles the model like crazy. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
