How to make image manipulation lenses ?

Hi all,

 

I was wondering how to make a lens which manipulates the photo. I've seen a popular lens where it pauses the screen for seconds for example. Another one is the fisheye lens which lets you shoot the video with fisheye lens applied on. The filter colors as well,

Is it purely by code?

  Hey Snapar,

  There is some coding involved to get the cool effects you're seeing and I encourage you to look around the forum for scripting examples and help like these posts:

  • Making a picture change on tap
  • Creating a freeze frame
  • Creating a Zoom Effect

  As for changing the coloring of the Lens, please take a look at our Post Effect guide to learn how to add different colors into your Lens. Do check out the other guides here too as necessary as they are great resources to help with Lens creation!
