  • Hey Tyler,

    Are you trying to get an imported image to show up in a Lens? If so, that's done by creating a new Material using your imported image as the base texture. You can then apply that Material to a visual in the Scene (like a MeshVisual or Sprite).

    Here's an example using a Billboard:

    1) Import your png texture.

    2) In Resources, select Add New -> Material -> Unlit.

    3) Select the new Material and set its "Base Texture" property to the imported texture from Step 1.

    4) In Objects, select Add New -> Billboard. This creates a 2D Sprite.

    5) Select the 2D Sprite and, in the Inspector, change the Sprite component's "Material" property to point to the Material you created in Step 3.

    You should now see your image in the Preview pane. To learn more about this process, please visit the Billboard Guide.

    open ~/Library/Preferences/Snap/Lens\ Studio/ %LOCALAPPDATA%\Snap\Lens Studio Copy Text
  • Press ReturnEnter to run the command. The Lens Studio folder will automatically open
  • Prepare to upload your files: zip the "Log" Folder by right-clicking and choosing "compress."
    Locate the Log.txt file right above it.
