Lens Studio crashes

    We have known issue, that Lens Studio crashes when your Windows username contains non-standard characters (as "è" or "ø" for example). Does your account name in Windows have these symbols?

    We currently preparing update with this problem fixed and will inform you as soon as it's ready.

    Hi, Thanks for the inputs.

    I tried to change my username and reinstall Lens Studio without any luck.

    My details:

    Win10 64x

    32gb ram

    nvidia quadro m1200

    intel xeon cpu E3-1505M v5 2.80 GHz

  • My user folder is still Andr(é) but unfortunately it didnt help when i changed the default project location or backup location.

  • Copy and paste this text into your TerminalCommand Window
    open ~/Library/Preferences/Snap/Lens\ Studio/ %LOCALAPPDATA%\Snap\Lens Studio Copy Text
  • Press ReturnEnter to run the command. The Lens Studio folder will automatically open
  • Prepare to upload your files: zip the "Log" Folder by right-clicking and choosing "compress."
    Locate the Log.txt file right above it.
