Lens Studio crashes when I import a model

  • Please try new 1.0.1 version of Lens Studio , it has plenty of improvements of OBJ import.

  • Seeing as I can't see the model, have you tested it on another computer? Does it open in 3d modelling software ok? I don't know much about the inner workings of Lens Studio, but it may have trouble processing "NGons" (which are polygons, but more sides than the regularly used Triangles or Quads). NGons tend to cause some trouble with other specific software, so this might be the cause? If not, perhaps the model contains too many polygons?

  • It has a low polygon count. Its a Fox Mccloud from starfox, and a knuckles from vr chat has more polygons, even more the knuckles in a tank has more polygon count.

    open ~/Library/Preferences/Snap/Lens\ Studio/ %LOCALAPPDATA%\Snap\Lens Studio Copy Text
  • Press ReturnEnter to run the command. The Lens Studio folder will automatically open
  • Prepare to upload your files: zip the "Log" Folder by right-clicking and choosing "compress."
    Locate the Log.txt file right above it.
