Happy creating!
Hey Keijo,
Have you checked out our 2D animation guide? At the bottom you can see an example script for animation playback.
To incorporate touch components check out our scripting overview and Touch Input guides. The guides go step by step through animating Lenses.
Happy Creating,
Kaitlyn
I looked at the 2d Animation Guide but i didnt know what the words "fishanimation" and "script.getSceneObject" refered to? Is the "fishanimation" the animation file name and the "script.getSceneObject" is the script??
Hi Keijo,
"script.getSceneObject()" returns the SceneObject that the script has been attached to.
"fishAnimation" is a variable being set to the SpriteVisual on the same SceneObject as the script.
Here's a script you can use to play a sprite animation whenever the screen is tapped:
1. Create a new Script and paste this code into it
2. Add a Script component to the same SceneObject as your Sprite
3. On the Script component, click "Add Script" and select the Script you created earlier (make sure the event dropdown here is set to Initialized)
Let me know if you have any additional questions!
Thank you so much Jacob and Kaitlyn for helping!
