  • I'm Having a similar issue with mine as well, when I open the app it stops responding and windows says the program has stopped working. I tried restarting my computer and running it as an administrator, but I keep having the same problem.

  • Hi Samson,

Does your computer username or a path to your installed Studio contain non-english characters? Our system currently doesn't support non-english characters so this seems to be a reason for numerous "not-launching" cases.

Alternatively, this could be an issue with security on your machine. Can you try to run it as an administrator?

Let me know if you still run into issues.

    Thanks,
    Kaitlyn

  • There’s no non-English characters in the path to the installed program, and I tried running as administrator but the problem still persists,

  • Hey Kedem,

Did you also try downloading the latest version of Lens Studio?

    Best,
    Kaitlyn

    Comment actions Permalink
  • Yes Kaitlyn, I have downloaded the latest version of Lens Studio as I have stated in my latest comment, but it did not fix the problem.

    Comment actions Permalink
  • My bad for missing that Kedem.

The original poster had an issue with his graphics card not being supported by Lens Studio and the others had security issues. Happy to chat offline about why Lens Studio might be crashing on your machine though!

    Hold tight,
    Kaitlyn

  • I’m having a similar problem. I installed Lens Studio just fine, but when I try to open it, a blank, white screen opens with the text “Lens Studio (Not Responding)” at the top.

  • Hi there

After completing all installing steps, I'm not able to open the program.

A message like "Runtime Error (at 13:321): SWbemLocator: Not found" keeps on appearing.

Another message "Your GPU is not supported. It either doesn't support OpenGL 2.1 or has outdated drivers installed", what does it mean?.

I meet the requirements and it doesn't run at all also I downloaded it twice.

    Kindly help.

  •  Hello,

I'm running Windows 10 and meet all the requirements for Lens Studio, but when I try to open it, it doesn't open. There's no error, no nothing. I finally go see if it runs in my task manager, it's not running under programs, but it is running under processes, but eventually disappears.

    Please help me.

  • Hey,
So I installed the lens Studio everything’s fine but after it got installed on my PC(windows 10) and I try opening it the app is opening but I only see a black screen

  • Lens Studio opened the first time and won't do it a second one. I get a message saying "Your Lens project was not saved properly during your last session. A project backup has been found. Would you like to recover it?" but I cannot click on yes or no  without it becoming non-responsive.

I have a 9th gen i5 40GB RAM machine with an Nvidia GTX 1650Max Q and Lens Studio won't start. I tried running as administrator, uninstall-install and it doesn't work. My computer exceeds the minimum run specs by a lot.
