The order of your objects in the object panel affects render order. By default the bottommost objects are rendered last making them appear in front of the topmost objects. Objects default to Auto enabled but if Auto is disabled, the object's render order must be configured manually. Check out the Panels guide for more info.
Additionally, you can utilize multiple cameras to separate rendering. For more information, please refer to the Camera and Layers guide.
